The assault caused the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
